The delights of summer weather :) Although it would have been far more exciting had we had thunder and lightning, instead just constant, perpetual rain... Ah well, you win some you lose some!
I love Paris, too! And rain in Paris ... well, that's just as common as rain in London. So I hope you embraced the cafe or museum or whatever indoor scene you could :)
Sounds like you had a fabulous time; sorry it rained tho.
ReplyDeleteIt totally poured with thunder and lightening one day when we were in Italy too!

ReplyDeleteand then you brought out the cute umbrellas :)
ReplyDeleteI remember Paris as gray and cold and a little rainy and unfriendly but maybe that's because it was march. I have to give it another try someday.
ReplyDeleteLucky you...next time take me with ;)
ReplyDeleteI still need to get to Paris.

Did the rain mean you had a lovely excuse to stay inside be it - gallery, shop or cafe? Oh I love Paris... lucky you for being there this weekend.

ReplyDeleteOh glad you had one day of strolling outside with vin rouge.
ReplyDeleteThe rain in Paris just makes it more romantic!
ReplyDelete@Krystal - Or my hotel did... I lost mine on the way there!
ReplyDelete@Julia - It is unfriendly... And it was cold and grey! I would recommend Italian cities above Paris any day :)
@Brazen - Worth a visit for sure, one day.
@Joan - We did just hide in a restaurant and bar, a superb excuse.
@Krista - We sure did.
@My spare thoughts - me too!
@Anna - Yes, it would do if your feet aren't sodden. But then when you get home it's kind of romantic to cuddle up to get warm :)
